What a coincidence!

It is always cute to watch baby animals, even the most hideous animals (like sheep) look so fantasticly sweet when they are newborn. One of the hottest news in Norway these days, apart from the financial crisis, possible Icelandic starvation and struggling Oslo subways that are never prepared for winter and falling wet leaves, alas they are late or cancelled - is the news of the Giraffe-mother Malin (!) who gave birth to a 60 kg and 170 cm tall baby. Pictures and story can be found here: dyreparken.no (sorry, norwegian only, but the photos are cute)

Anyway, I found it a bit funny that there actually excist a giraffe (viffvaff) with the same name as mine.

Eurovision Song Contest - Part II

No big surprise perhaps, but at least we tried! Today came 5 letters, one for each song, stating that we haven't been picked out for the competition for 2009. Well well. Let's hope the songs they have chosen are really good, Norway need another victory now! :o)

Today I have tested "Brushes" - also an app for my iPod:

It is really fun to work with, but my arms are really aching! :o)

Netsketch on iPod Touch

As I wrote yesterday, I have gotten an iPod Touch. There is a neat application called "Netsketch" that I tried out last night. I first read about it at Stef's sketches. This is my first attempt:

And if you click here you can see in a very quick animation just how I made it. Now I am going to find an app called "Brushes".

Andy Warhol at Astrup Fearnley

Yesterday we took an excursion to The Astrup Fearnley Museum to see their collection of Andy Warhols works. It was very cool to see his paintings in real life, to get close and try to find out about his techiques etc. Some people has stated that my paintings are a bit related to his, but we obviously use very different methods. Too bad the man is dead. It would be great to see what he would have done lately. I can't say that he is a favorite artist of mine, but it was, as I said, really cool to have seen these works!

We also checked what's going on at The Museum for Contemporary Art at the moment. It is really educating and interesting to visit these kind of exhibitions, and I hope to be able to to that more often.
